Bayram Samet Şahin heads up UDA’s growing analytics/research department coupled with a country experience in Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Georgia, Malaysia and Ethiopia. He graduated from Middle East Technical University with Bachelor degree of Statistics, received Master degree of Technical Demography from Hacettepe University, Population Studies Institute and still following PhD.
He has worked mainly for projects of The World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP, UNODC, OIC COMCEC, and INGOs with a particular focus on humanitarian assistance, agriculture and rural development, drugs and crime, pharmacy and health, food waste and loss, labour market, transportation, and logistics.
He has over 8 years of experience in the consultancy sector specialized in monitoring and evaluation of programme/project, data analytics and modelling, research design and implementation, feasibility of investments/projects and capacity building activities. He is also competent at running STATA, R, SPSS and Minitab.
