Evaluation of OFDA and ECHO-funded projects in Syria

The Syrian crisis is currently described as the greatest humanitarian challenge for the international community and the MENA region. Due to the escalating conflict in Syria, dozens of Syrians are forced to flee their homes every day. To date, an estimated 6.3 million Syrians are internally displaced and 4.8 million have sought refuge in other countries (UNHCR).

Evaluation of the OFDA Project

The ECHO‐funded project “Lifesaving Emergency Assistance for Protracted Conflict in Syria – Phase III (LEAP III)” builds upon RI’s previous related projects to continue the provision of life‐saving primary, secondary and reproductive healthcare services, with integrated WASH support through facility‐based outreach services. Six health facilities and three mobile clinics across Aleppo, Idleb and Hama are supported.
