Improving Agricultural Statistics

UDA Consulting was contracted by Ministry of Development-COMCEC OIC to carry out the study on “Improving Agricultural Statistics In The COMCEC OIC Region”. The study included managing agricultural statistical systems including agricultural data collection, compilation, processing, and dissemination in the COMCEC OIC Region. UDA experts identified the key factors for enhancing the cooperation and coordination between organizations and other stakeholders for producing agricultural statistics in the COMCEC OIC Region.

Turkey Disaster Management Strategy Paper

UDA Consulting was contracted by World Bank for the project "Consulting Services for Preparation of a Turkey Disaster Management Strategy Paper". Within the scope of the project, UDA Consulting was responsible for conceptualizing the Disaster and Risk Management (DRM) framework and developing the Turkey Disaster Management Strategy Paper (TDMSP). During the project, UDA Consulting managed the consultation process with stakeholders; facilitate discussions, moderate workshops to be organized, prepare draft and final documents for AFAD’s approval.

Geographical Scope

Ex-Post Evaluation focused on 12 provinces out of the 42 provinces in which the Programme has been implemented: Aksaray, Ankara, Çorum, Denizli, Isparta, Konya, Manisa, Mersin, Ordu, Şanlıurfa, Uşak ve Van.

Project Description

Ex-Post Evaluation Report shows the findings of the IPARD Programme activities that were carried out between August 2011 and August 2016. The report presents a detailed analysis on the standard evaluation components.

Socio-Economic Analysis of the Forest Villages

The objective of this study is to gather information on the forest villagers of Turkey, their dependence on the forest, and poverty and migration among them, and so to inform the development of forestry policies. 2037 households have been surveyed that take place in 202 villages in all over Turkey. Moreover, a survey asking general information on the village was implemented in each village. The households in each village were chosen randomly. UDA carried out regular on-the-spot checks during the survey application.

The project aimed at analysing the awareness of the students at middle and high school level about the European Union. The project is a follow-up of the one that was carried two years ago.

Equal Access to Education Research and International Conference

International Conference: Equal Access to Education

In line with the resolutions accepted at the First World Conference on Humanitarian Aid which was hosted in May 2016 in Turkey, a study about Syrian refugee children access to education was initiated with the support of Prime Ministry Promotion Fund of Republic of Turkey. This study aims to map all relevant projects, actions, and studies done about the subject matter by the national and international organizations in Turkey and other countries in the region.
