Strengthening Social Cohesion for Syrian Refugees and Turkish Host Communities

The MSC Project supports ten Multi-Service Centres (MSCs) in Istanbul, Ankara, Mersin, Hatay, Kilis, Gaziantep and Mardin, on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Once a year, GIZ conducts a round of intensive monitoring to evaluate progress and provide data for reporting. To support this process, GIZ contracted UDA Consulting to support data collection and recording, analysis of qualitative data, improving feedback to NGO partners, and support knowledge management.

Monitoring of GIZ Cash for Work Projects

Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) of the Cash for Work Projects “Waste Disposal and Recycling, Rehabilitation of Municipal Infrastructure” and “Production and Commercialization of Crafts/Handicraft”.

In order to assess more detailed the effectiveness and impact of the CfW-measures till today, a first post-distribution monitoring (PDM) should be conducted. The objective of the post-monitoring is twofold:

In the scope of UDA Academy activities aimed supporting humanitarian assistance organizations, UDA Consulting provided "Introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation" one-day free training course tailored for humanitarian assistance providers in Turkey.

This training course held in Ankara, on March 28, 2017 in JW Marriott Hotel-Magnesia III.
